Apparently I am anathema to all technology. The machines might already be coming for me, even now.
This blog shall have to serve as my note.
Did your smartphone beat you up?
A couple of weeks ago the Xbox 360 spontaneously ate itself. The PS3 has taken a vow against playing DVDs or PS2 games.
Now, I’ve got a (brand new) tablet with a malfunctioning screen that won’t interface properly with its docking keyboard, a laptop keyboard with broken and/or glitchy keys, and a USB keyboard I can’t connect to my laptop because both USB ports on my laptop decided to take the long sleep.
Writing this week is going to be *awesome*. I think this may be the moment to make sacrificial offerings to my iPod to ensure its continued functionality.
Oh, and. As though we hadn’t already entered a perfect storm of cascade failure, the cordless phone died on me while I was making the call to technical support for the tablet.
Are you poorly grounded?
No. We’ve always taken extra precautions against that because, I don’t even know man, but I seem to have a history of emitting harmful electromagnetic energy or something. I always cause electronics to malfunction, through normal use and handling, in ways no one else can replicate.
I recommend sitting in a corner with a pen and notepad until the sunspots pass …
man. poor you!
The sitting in a corner part certainly seems to be in order.
That’s the answer. A yellow pad and bic pen- then scan it in – oh wait? Is your scanner working?
I think I’d be afraid to touch it.
